What are The Pros and Cons of Windows Groove Music Player?
Unlike Windows media player on the earlier versions of Windows OS where there was no dedicated player for music and video Groove music player can play only audio files. Windows media player was slower and did not support some file types for audio as well as video. Also because of its poor decoder, it used to crash a lot of times.

PROS:

Groove Music player has also got a dedicated library of songs and albums like other music players such as iTunes. The best thing about this player is that we can not only download thousands of songs but also upload the songs to oneDrive app and can listen to it via Groove player. Much famous music player does not give this type of facility.

As far as uploading is concerned, we have to pay $9.99 per month to Microsoft, but we can still play our songs uploaded on One Drive through Groove music player even if the subscription period is over. Groove music player has got more value for money than Spotify or iTunes. It has also got a dedicated radio service which has got the pretty good collection of songs.

CONS:

The biggest con of Groove music player is that it has got no support for third-party devices like Chromecast, Roku, and the new Amazon Echo devices. It works just fine on Windows devices, Xbox, and Mobile apps. We simply cannot hear the amazing music coming out of Groove music player via home theatre.
